Chris Gilchrist
Chris got involved in web design in 1999 and has owned and managed web businesses since 2001. He has worked directly with and managed projects for the likes of IBM, Oxford University Press, Unipart and Gartner.
He now focusses his attention specifically on web analytics, SEO and PPC campaign management. Chris is Google Analytics Qualified. He also manages Hit Reach and maintains a keen interest in business and finance.
Outside of work Chris is a keen practitioner of Progressive TaeKwon-Do as well as Tactical Edge defensive combat methods, studying both disciplines directly under Chief Instructor Mr Mark Davies, 5th Degree Blackbelt.
Simon Lamb
Simon has over 10 years experience in the design field. First starting out in the games industry, working for Electronic Arts designing UI’s and game menu systems. Over the years Simon has worked in all aspects of graphic design including computer games, mobile and hand held games, web design and printed materials.
In his spare time, Simon plays guitar in Screeching Weasel and the Riverdales, who are best known for helping to spark the early 1990s “pop-punk” movement. Past memebrs of the band include Mike Dirnt from Green Day and recent collaborations have involved members of the All American Rejects.
Simon also enjoys graphic design and has an unhealthy obsession with Fawlty Towers.
Matt Braddock
Matt has nearly 5 years experience as a developer after graduating from Oxford Brookes University with a degree in Technology Management.
He is adept and very comfortable with account management and has an excellent rapport with the clients he deals with. Matt builds and maintains over 150 sites each year and is constantly helping clients to streamline their workflow and improve the effectiveness of their sites relative to their objectives.
In his spare time Matt runs the long running Slide club nights and gigs in Oxford and London, runs an annual music Festival, DJs around UK and if he is lucky – occasionally Europe, as well as enjoying the fruits of London life as much as he can!
Alex Connell
Alex is the head of development technologies as well as account manager and senior developer, specialising in the technical and development aspects of projects. He has worked on many high profile projects for well known companies such as Sony, Lenovo and Lexmark.
He has experience in Broad Consultancy, Management, Analysis (System & Data), Development & Support Experience, Specialising in Online Database, Content Management & SME/Enterprise Applications/Solutions on Internet/Intranet/extranet and desktop, spanning over 12 years in the Industry. Excellent communication skills at all levels, Competent Process & System Designer & Development Team Leader. Effective tester & trouble shooter.
In his spare time he says…. “What is spare time I have a 18 month old baby and another on the way!”
Sev Roberts
Sev graduated form the University of Southampton in 2004 with an honours degree in Computer Science.
He is experienced in requirements analysis, application design, implementation, testing and support, in a multitude of environments including intranet, desktop, web and mobile systems.
Sev enjoys football and has recently gotten engaged.
Jonathan Castro
After graduating in Mathematics in 1993, Jonathan spent 8 years in the engineering sector, undertaking complex numerical analysis work for a wide variety of projects, before moving into software testing and technical writing.
After undergoing training in web design he subsequently moved into the web development industry, and is skilled in a number of technical areas including (x)HTML, CSS2, Javascript, PHP 4/5, MySQL and a range of graphics software programs.
In his spare time he enjoys playing piano and organ, and keeping up with the latest scientific news.
Fraser Paterson
Fraser has 6 years experience working in both small and large scale projects after graduating from Dundee University with a degree in Applied Computing. Over the years he has worked on some large scale ambitious projects with organisations such as The National Library of Scotland, Adobe and the World Economic Forum.
While Fraser has worked with a variety of technologies he specialises in the development of Rich Internet Applications through technologies such as Adobe Flash/Flex, Java and C#.
In his spare time he enjoys attempting to play the guitar (not always successfully) and attends music festivals and live performances.
Karen Shovlin
Karen is responsible for the finance function of Hit Reach. She has been working for accountancy firm – Walker Dunnett & Company, based in Dundee for 5 years preparing accounts, vat returns and bookkeeping for their clients.
Karen is an AAT Qualified Bookkeeper and is planning to start the Technician Stage of her Accounting qualification soon.
Karen lives in Perth and enjoys playing Pool and Poker in her spare time.
